cane's summer salad


CANE'S SUMMER SALAD

* 1 small cucumber, peeled and sliced

* 1 ripe mango, diced

* 1 cup watermelon chunks

* Steamed baby shrimp

* 1 toasted bread

* Vinaigrette dressing, optional

PROCEDURE:

Arrange everything in a bowl or plate. You may drizzle vinaigrette over salad if desired. Enjoy.

During summer in the Philippines colorful and sweet fruits are in abundance. One afternoon when I rummaging the refrigerator for something to eat I spotted the fruits. Already chilled I sliced and diced put them in a newly bought white bowl. Since I had just toasted bread slathered with condensed milk I thought why don’t I eat both together? I enjoyed my snack while watching a re run of Larry King Live.
